TRANSWESTERN ROLE
Robert is the Vice President leading capital markets and structured finance efforts within Southern California. He has successfully executed a diverse range of transactions, including sourcing debt and equity for investors and developers, dispositions of office and industrial assets, and lease negotiations.
With over twenty years of real estate experience, Robert has witnessed every aspect of the real estate cycle and has developed a comprehensive analytical and soft skill set focused on delivering results. His relationships with lenders and limited partner equity provide him with capital markets insight that contributes to a robust top-down analysis for projects. From a bottom-up approach, Robert's experience representing operators with site selection and lease negotiations gives him a granular-level perspective on essential user requirements.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
Notable transactions at 星空体育官方网址 include procuring $50 million in construction financing for one of the nation鈥檚 first prefabricated, modular apartment developments, advising a family office on the disposition of its west coast real estate portfolio and re-allocation into core assets in the sunbelt states, and landlord representation resulting in achieving a record-breaking office rent in Santa Monica. During his tenure with 星空体育官方网址, Robert has been involved in more than $450 million of transaction activity.
Prior to 星空体育官方网址, Robert worked at multiple commercial real estate lending and investment firms, including Ready Capital, Terra Cotta Group, and Aurora Bank. He has held various positions at these firms, including credit underwriter, special assets officer, and REO officer. During the great financial crisis, Robert resolved more than 100 delinquent loans in his non-performing loan portfolio while at Aurora Bank.
