Biography

TRANSWESTERN ROLE

As Executive Managing Director of Research & Investment Analytics, Hans leads national research initiatives, focusing on using the firm鈥檚 proprietary data and analytics platform to craft compelling narratives, produce valuable thought leadership, and enhance investment decision-making at 星空体育官方网址 and for its clients and partners. 

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Before joining 星空体育官方网址, Hans was the Head of Research and Analytics at Lionstone Investments. He previously served as the Managing Director at CoStar Portfolio Strategy (formerly PPR), where he directed the research agenda and advised public, private, debt, and equity commercial real estate clients on investment and lending strategies. 

PROFESSIONAL AFFILIATION / RECOGNITION

Hans is a member of the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA) Publications Committee, the American Real Estate Society (ARES) Industry Advisory Council, and the Editorial Board of the Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate鈥檚 (AFIRE) Summit Journal. His research has appeared in PREA, ULI, and AFIRE, and he has been cited in major media outlets, including the Wall Street Journal, CNN, and Bloomberg. 

EDUCATION

Hans earned an MBA in Finance from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Arts, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Minnesota.
