Biography

TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Gerry directs investment sales and real estate investment banking activities throughout the Mid-Atlantic region and is a member of 星空体育官方网址鈥檚 Board of Directors. Based in Washington, D.C., his primary focus is originating, structuring and executing commercial investment sales and capital market transactions for institutional, corporate, and private owners of real estate.
 
Gerry has over 34 years of real estate transaction experience representing over $23 billion in value. Since joining 星空体育官方网址 in 1999, Gerry has sold over 35 million square feet of commercial properties in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Gerry鈥檚 clients include: AEW, Barings, Blackrock, Brookfield, Cambridge, CARR, CDC, Clarion, Dweck, Finmarc, Fundrise, JP Morgan, KBS, LNR, Pearlmark, Penzance, Piedmont, Prudential, Polinger, Morgan Stanley, Northwestern, Nuveen, Rialto, State Farm, TA Associates, and Westport Capital.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Before joining 星空体育官方网址, Gerry served as an advisor to Travelers, where he was responsible for the disposition of a national portfolio of assets acquired through a merger. Prior to that, Gerry was a director at USF&G Realty Advisors, a real estate advisory firm that provided a wide variety of financial and agency services to institutional clients. His responsibilities included development, portfolio management, and advisory services.

Gerry holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from VA Tech and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University, with a real estate finance concentration.
