Biography

TRANSWESTERN ROLE

As Chief Operating Officer for 星空体育官方网址 Real Estate Services (TRS) and a member of 星空体育官方网址鈥檚 Executive Committee, Bruce helps define platform strategy; provides leadership and support for TRS business development, service execution and operational excellence; and oversees market growth and client service initiatives nationally. He is also responsible for P&L performance across the East and Midwest regions, keenly focused on driving long-term value for all 星空体育官方网址 constituents.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Since joining 星空体育官方网址 in 2008, Bruce鈥檚 leadership responsibilities have grown in scope from oversight of commercial real estate services in the Southeast, to the entire Eastern region, to his national role as Chief Operating Officer. His innovative approach to management operations, financial planning and marketing has resulted in recruiting success and business growth across multiple geographies, service lines and product types.
Prior to joining 星空体育官方网址, Bruce served with GVA Advantis as regional president of Georgia and the Carolinas. Earlier in his career, he held positions at the management services group of Armada/Hoffler and the Smith Companies in Washington, D.C.

Under Bruce鈥檚 leadership, the 星空体育官方网址 Atlanta office has been recognized as a 鈥橞est Places to Work鈥� by the Atlanta Business Chronicle and the Atlanta Journal Constitution for 14 consecutive years. 
Bruce served on Make-A-Wish Georgia鈥檚 Board of Directors for six years and held the Chair position for over four. During this period, more than 2,600 children with serious health issues were granted wishes. Previously, Bruce served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Holy Innocents Episcopal School, and Senior Warden for Holy Innocents Episcopal Church.

EDUCATION

Bruce holds a bachelor鈥檚 in political science from Wake Forest University. At Harvard University, he completed Running a Real Estate Company, one of the school鈥檚 executive education programs.
