Biography

TRANSWESTERN ROLE

Paris is the National GIS Research Manager for 星空体育官方网址鈥檚 Research & Investment Analytics team. In this role, she creates innovative and intriguing mapping materials for clients, assists with optimal strategies based on market opportunities, and extracts demographic and geographic information for maps, presentations, data summaries and quarterly reports. She also maintains geographic data and statistics to improve industry and market knowledge.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

Paris came to 星空体育官方网址 from the Miami Downtown Development Authority, where she served as Research and GIS Coordinator. In this position, she was responsible for tracking various economic indicators and geospatial data to perform custom analyses and design mapping solutions and visualizations for print, online and interactive formats. Earlier in her career, she provided geospatial intelligence analysis and created cartographic products as a GIS Specialist for federal defense contractor Leidos. She was also a GIS and Geography Adjunct Professor at Broward College for four years.

Paris received a bachelor鈥檚 degree in geography from Arizona State University and a master鈥檚 in geographic information systems and sustainability management from the University of Washington, Seattle.
